Celebrate Independence Day in Arvada mingling with neighbors and friends, as the City of Arvada, Apex Park & Recreation District, Arvada Festivals Commission and KOOL105 provide free entertainment.
The event starts at 4:00 pm to the end of fireworks display approx. 10:00 pm. A variety of food will be available for purchase! Fireworks cap off the evening, but don’t miss the incredible fun during daylight hours.
What to Expect:
Thousands of people enjoying the day with free activities. Face painters, bouncy houses, sensory games, human hamster balls, many community vendors and tons of fun! Purchase great food from our many different vendors and come buy wares from the community vendors.
Expect local street closures.
NO personal fireworks, alcohol or animals are permitted at the sports complex.
NO overnight camping allowed.
NO Drones allowed in the park, parking lot, around the fireworks for the all day event.
There will be two ATM machines available at this event.
You can bring in your grills, but they must be PROPANE ONLY.
Please leave your pets at home. Expect a lot of people, a lot of activity, and loud noises.
Food & Entertainment:
There will be food and food trucks! Come spend the afternoon with us and support our community and food vendors.
KOOL 105 simulcast when the fireworks begin (approx 9:00 pm)
Parking will be available with gates to the Lutz/Stenger Sports Complex opening at 3:00 p.m. Handicapped parking is available in the small parking lot off Oak Street. Large recreational vehicles will be directed to a parking area in the Stenger Soccer Complex. No parking will be allowed on Kipling Parking, entry and all activities are FREE.
After the Fireworks, traffic will be held for 20 minutes to allow pedestrians to leave safely.
