In light of the event on June 21 in Olde Town, this event now has taken on additional meaning and significance. Arvada is a resilient community where we come together and support one another in even the most difficult times. It is in this spirit that the Arvada Festivals Commission, in partnership with the Arvada Vitality Alliance, the Arvada Kiwanis Club, and Arvada Sunrise Rotary Club support and honor the memory of two Arvada heros, Officer Gordon Beesley and John Hurley, by donating 10% of the proceeds from this event.
Prizes awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place!
Proud Souls Barbecue & Provisions has donated the prizes for the Amateur BBQ Competition. These prizes include a Hasty-Bake 414 Charcoal Grill, a Proud Souls Gift Package (rubs, sauces, glass, gift card), koozies, 10% off coupons, and more! The meat for the Amateur Bbq Competition will be provided by Tuff's Cattle Company and Ranch.
Arvada On Tap – A Craft Beer and BBQ Fest is produced by the Arvada Festivals Commission (AFC). We’re a group of volunteers appointed by the City Council to organize and produce eight annual celebrations and to help other organizations produce celebrations.
For Arvada On Tap, we’re partnering with three service organizations to raise funds for their community projects. Members from Arvada-Jefferson Kiwanis Club, Arvada Sunrise Rotary and Arvada Vitality Alliance partner with the AFC to plan and produce this celebration. These organizations contribute funds and volunteer time to the following community efforts:
